Cardiosolutions, Inc. is a development stage company focused on a novel percutaneous alternative to open heart surgery to solve the problem of mitral regurgitation.
We now offer the Dexterity™ Steerable Introducer which is designed to provide physicians straightforward and uncomplicated access to the heart anatomy by simplifying the cardiac trans-septal procedure and facilitating passage of therapies into the entire left atrium, left ventricle and associated heart structures. The Dexterity™ Steerable Introducer is intended to be used for the advancement and delivery of various cardiovascular catheters into the heart, including the left side of the cardiac anatomy through the inter-atrial septum.
Currently, we are developing a pioneering technology, the Mitra-Spacer™, designed to deliver an implant that will provide a sealing surface for the leaflets of the mitral valve, thereby significantly reducing or eliminating mitral regurgitation (MR). Our goal is to provide a new therapeutic alternative for a wide range of patients of all ages who suffer from moderate to severe mitral regurgitation, including a portion of those who are currently in congestive heart failure. Our percutaneous procedure has the potential to substantially reduce procedure time, expedite patient recovery and provide a less costly alternative to current treatment options.
